Ginger Marks who sadly is no longer with us but lives  on in our memories, forever a Pant

Born plain William Francombe in 1933, he underwent a ‘Road to Damascus’ experience whilst being pushed in  his pram in Covent Garden in 1816, where he had been born into a clan of refugee Tsarist royalty.

From that memorable date on (June the 32nd 1910) he wished to be known by his now infamous stage name. Rumour has it that the inspiration came from a nappy accident in said pram but the reclusive Ginger has never commented on the subject, he thought it a stain on his character.

Since the acrimonious break-up of the Pants (sic), Ginger is rumoured to be posing as a member of the medical profession in New Zealand, living off the favours of elderly female patients.
